On 8 March, to mark International Women's Rights Day, La Fabrique invites you to an inspiring meeting with Anne-Sophie, from the bookshop À contre courant, who will be sharing stories of exceptional women.

For an hour, we'll be following in the footsteps of women travellers and adventurers who defied the odds to explore the world.
We'll discover the incredible destiny of the Fille courageuse de Groix, a woman sailor who defied the conventions of her time.
And we'll look back at an important episode in women's struggle for their rights: the Penn sardines strike in Douarnenez.

So many stories that still resonate today, reminding us of the strength, audacity and determination of women.
